Blue gateway sliding swivel shower chair

$199
As of 2026-11-01

The blue gateway chair is designed to simplify the process of getting into and out of a bathtub. It features a seat that both slides and swivels, allowing the user to sit down outside the tub and then glide into the showering area. The aluminum frame is lightweight yet sturdy enough for daily use.

The seat and backrest are covered in blue padding that is soft to the touch and provides a secure grip. This padding is also designed to be warmer than standard plastic, which can be uncomfortable in a cold bathroom. The chair's height is adjustable to ensure a proper fit for different users and tub heights.

This model is particularly useful for individuals with significant mobility limitations. The sliding mechanism reduces the need for the user to lift their legs over the tub wall, which is a common cause of falls. The integrated armrests provide additional stability and a place to hold onto during the transfer process.
